I believe in the campground rule: Leave the world in a better state than found.

Interesting. But there also needs to be regulation on rent, or landlords will simply raise the rent because renters can pay more. How will landlords know to raise the rent? That’s easy since states announce minimum wage increases.

Don’t shop. Take stress out of your holidays by reimagining gift giving. Instead of running around literally at a mall or figuratively online, consider making a gift, cooking a gift, providing a service, e.g. housecleaning, transportation, etc., or gift your time by scheduling hangout time.

It’s a small step in the right direction.

Es un pequeño paso en la dirección correcta.

The Chinese supercritical CO₂ (sCO₂) power system uses a fixed amount of sCO₂ as a working fluid. Other CO₂ created during steelmaking is:
* Released (if uncontrolled)
* Captured via CCS (carbon capture and storage)
* Vented (somewhere) depending on the facility

Not so green. Question “miracles.”

El sistema eléctrico chino sCO₂ usa sCO₂ como fluido. El CO₂ del acero se libera, captura con CCS o ventila, según la instalación. No es tan ecológico.

You’ll love this. A wealthy CA city paid a sports design & construction firm a consultant fee of $140K to provide the city guidance on plastic grass vs real grass for sports fields.

Then there’s this from Courthousenews.com, “After the setback in formal negotiations, André Corrêa do Lago … COP30 president, said he would draft the roadmap himself … two voluntary documents — one on moving away from fossil fuels & another on reversing deforestation …” having only moral force.

Post-CPO30 Public vs Less Public Face differ.

More from Reuters: When asked, Al Gore said that “while oil producer states had blocked language on phasing out fossil fuels, Brazil's COP30 presidency will lead an effort to develop such a roadmap, backed by more than 80 countries.”

What was his take on Cop-out 30? No one will say “fossil fuels.”
