Disabled woman in my 60s Expensively overeducated in obscure humanities fields at leading institutions of higher education in the US Kicked out of a PhD program at a major university when diagnosed with a chronic disability just before the ADA took effect
I don't think anything will approach the creepiness is that year in Trump's first term when Melania produced that forest of red trees as Christmas decor.

I did try opening the article-- never managed to find a key to the graph colors. Perhaps part of the problem is I'm on a cellphone; despite multiple messages to Bluesky help, I've never managed to reset my password so that I can access my account from a larger device.

Trump's racism is in full display. Decent human beings start with compassion for Somalis because of the horrors their country has experienced over the past several years and only move to exclude individual Somalis who have been proven to be criminals.

I lost an American edition of the book by leaving it behind on an Intercity bus on Crete in the spring of 1984 while traveling in Europe. A few months later, I purchased a copy of the British edition in Lund, Sweden. Type may be smaller in British version; never compared two side by side.

That cover is of the American edition of the book, BTW. The British edition has a black cover and is much smaller and easier to handle, being about the size of a mass market paperback.

Trump was quoted as saying that he was unsure whether his MRI was of his brain. How is this uncertainty possible-- a patient undergoing an MRI needs to place the body part in a tunnel and hold still, generally for a fairly long period of time. How can he not know whether it was his head in there?

Surprised Toyota sales are down in Europe as they are known almost as much as Honda for reliability and are the "gold standard" for hybrid vehicles. I would not buy an electric- only vehicle at this time as there are sections in the US where it can be hard to find a charging station.

The origin of the term "rule of thumb" is the medieval legal standard that a man had the right to beat his wife so long as the stick he used wasn't thicker than his thumb.
