God, that sounds like the neighbour's cat, Cloud, who the other week was demanding fusses one minute, then literally sinking her teeth into my hand the next. Spent 5 hours at hospital getting an x-ray, tetanus shot and antibiotics.

So this monster threw an absolute hissy fit at 1am, refusing to eat her food. So I added a new tin to her bowl, and she refused that too. Put rejected food to one side, gave her a whole clean bowl with new food in her feeder.
She ate the rejected food, ignored the new clean bowl completely.
