Before Presents happens I would like to let it be known for the record that I am a Snivy/Piplup nonbeliever. The idea of Kalosian Serperior/Empoleon seems tautological - they're already french nobility/Napoleon-inspired, are their french regionals supposed to just be even more frenchier somehow?

yeah i've thought about this as well😅 my assumption was that we'd get megas for the Kalos starters and regionals for the neo-Kalos ones, but i wouldn't be surprised to see them throw a complete wildcard and give us completely new starters or something
