Hopefully, what we're becoming is a nation of people who can no longer turn our heads and finally strive for something better than capitalism disguised as democracy.

I was tentatively hopeful, after the announcements from Hamas, Netanyahu, and Trump of a signed aggreement of phase one of the "peace plan", that there would finally be tangible movement toward peace.

But, shortly after those announcements, Israel resumed bombing Gaza.

Bibi is dastardly.

This is cause for concern and alarm.

It's getting more and more difficult to track all of the loopholes in the current system that allow for the possibility of this overreach in the first place.

This upcoming ruling will be another key point in the active stress-test of open fascism being run by the current administration against our supposed democratic system of government.

It seems a small thing, but it isn't.
It's another of the proverbial 1,000 cuts.

Until I can trust that all incarcerated people are done so justly, are treated humanely, and are are given proper resources, I don't think prison officials should be given any more power over them than they already have.

What Kristi Noem doesn't seem to comprehend is that her department has no authority over protesters.

So, her direction to her "agents" to "go hard" on protesters is, in itself, an illegal act.

I know they don't care.

It's just important that we keep track... for the trials that come later.

What weight do his words carry when anything he promises can be retracted, and Israel will bomb anyway?

Part of the problem with deciding to openly turn the U.S. into a fascist dictatorship led by a ranting egomaniac is that it removes all respect, credibility, and negotiating power.

In this video, we see a member of ICE committing an act of domestic terrorism.

As evidenced, this is not a protest or violent confrontation of any kind, nor was the ICE "officer" faced with any need to initiate crowd control methods.
