It needs to be ALL of the reporters saying it in unison. When it's one at a time, all he does is insult the reporter, the newspaper, the comedian, the network, etc... It needs to be so many, simultaneously and directly that he'll have to say that the entire universe is "ugly", "fake", "horrible"...
