Anti-fascist. Why can’t we be decent to each other? Trump has been a blight on common decency.

Happy Pride month! 🌈

Even if we were to take the idiotic abs resist rationale as valid, how can the judge reconcile this with the Citizens United decision? Money in politics is only legal when it's for my guys? Give me a fucking break!

Smith is wrong, though, in assuming that it is pure partisan politics at play here. He's ignoring heaps of evidence presented that Texas responded to the DOJ demanding they redraw maps based on race (as the majority notes), seemingly just accepting hat Texas argued as Gospel truth.

How dumb can a judge be? Shocking.

"If, however, there were a Nobel Prize for Fiction, Judge Brown’s opinion would be a prime candidate." - U.S. District Judge Jerry Smith, in his dissent in the TX redistricting case.

(There is a Nobel Prize for literature, fwiw.)

Vance is a paper tiger. He lacks charisma and electability. Although I despise him, I understand why certain people have been drawn to Donald Trump; the excess, the bragging, the self indulgence. It's an act Vance can't replicate. Who is therefore his constituency? Tech Bros? Who?

This was written by a conservative. What he is really worried about is backlash from the left rejecting conservatives in all forms and having to pay higher taxes as a result.

The great depression, Black Monday, the S&L crises, the great recession, the covid crash

The democrats usually have to clean up your mess, while y'all whine and cry we aren't fixing your economic disaster fast enough,

Right ?

As a foreign observer with a vested interest in the US, I hate to break it to you but Trump isn’t restoring anything.
The rest of the world is looking on with a mixture of horror and amusement. Horror for the poor people that he’s persecuting and amusement that you elected a criminal clown 🤬🤡💩

Because we aren’t gullible rubes. How do you justify trumps pardon of a drug king pin while claiming war crimes r cool cuz drugs r a scourge? I doubt you comprehend basic logic.

Oh and Costco is suing for the illegal tariffs. It’s going to get messy. Trumps sycophantic scotus may help him like always.

I wonder how many idiots believe this.
First off, even if you did replace income tax with tariffs, it's still money coming from you, to the gov't.
Second, since that would be a consumption tax, it would land heavily on consumers versus high earners.

It’s wild how you just buy fairytales. You do understand AI is going to obliterate the American workforce because Trump wants to bar state regulations? He never actually believed in state’s rights. He wanted forced birth. Now he wants no regulation to help his billionaire cronies.
