They're pulling them back not because the cards in the Monster Hunter drop were crap, but because the Avatar drops were so poorly received. They realize that fans have finally reached their breaking point.

CBS needs to develop Survivor: Cooperstown. Everyone gets to submit a ballot of who they want voted off the island of voters, and voters may submit as many names as they like. If a voter gets 75% of other voters voting them off the island, they get shot out of a cannon toward Lake Ontario.
