Solid production of The Sound of Music. Nothing revolutionary but does it even need to be? I've seen the movie prob 100x as a kid and on stage a few times but still did not expect every song to hit me with a wallop of emotional nostalgia every time. Damn you Rodgers & Hammerstein!

Knew nothing going in other than heard it's more dramatic than you'd expect from the title and posters, and yes, I was frustrated along with the characters, despite the Christmas setting, which is probably the exact feeling I was supposed to have about foreign workers working a Cdn Christmas market

I also love looking into the ballet Corps and kept noticing Hamish Lowe always acting/reacting the most to whatever scene was happening despite being in the background and it was honestly so cute and wonderful to see.

(and he's a hometown boy!)

Technically not a Second City show, but with a lot of alum, and using their Theatre '73 stage, def has the Second City silly fun vibes (despite it being fully scripted, and a full on musical).
