my friend LOVED it on Broadway but it opened in the time I never went to visit anymore. But getting to see it in a few months when the tour makes its way here.

And as expected, Christiane Noll's Mother Abbess was MOTHER (Hint hint), and Nicholas Rodriguez put in his cheeky charm into max (and still looked and sounded amazing as always).

The kids were TERRIFIC.

But most importantly, the Maria, Cayleigh Capaldi, was fantastic. Thank heavens. Not a problem

Solid production of The Sound of Music. Nothing revolutionary but does it even need to be? I've seen the movie prob 100x as a kid and on stage a few times but still did not expect every song to hit me with a wallop of emotional nostalgia every time. Damn you Rodgers & Hammerstein!
