This process has taught me that police will go to greater lengths to protect themselves than they will to protect victims and vulnerable women. I simply do not believe that police can be trusted with the safety of women and I think we need a new service that actually protects us.

I can't help but wonder, how much did Met Police Commissioner's Rowley and Dick know about DCI James Mason's predatory behaviour? Were they covering up for him, their former Staff Officer?

My judicial review was heard at the High Court in May 2023 but I had to return 6 months later when it came to light that the Met Police Commissioner had failed to disclose the existence of other grim allegations against DCI James Mason. They told me I was the only one.

The Court of Appeal found the panel had not provided adequate analysis nor reasons for their decision and this amounted to an error of law. This comes after Justice Swift had initially said the disciplinary process was 'both reasonable and appropriate".
