Stopped in the cafeteria at work for a snack & an employee popped something in my hand as I walked out & smiled at me before heading back to work. Then I looked down & smiled myself. Thank you, to a lovely human, helping me believe most people are good.

Bought the chonks an exercise wheel because the vet says they're 'extra fluffy' ... in typical cat fashion they want to play with the box.

I haven't been feeling well so I laid down for a nap. Next thing I know, my golden goddess jumps onto my pillow, snuggles up & wraps her paws around my hand as she purrs herself to sleep.

Waiting for the vet to call about my ginger goddess ... she has a minor issue, but a major attitude when it comes to the vet so she got herself sedated for her procedure. It's been almost 3 hours & I'm anxious to hear she's been recovered & ready to be picked up.

Here @ Corewell Health we get mandatory education about respecting others, using proper pronouns, etc, meanwhile in Florida & Texas they're coddling bigots who refuse to do their jobs if they have 'moral objections' ... in other words, if you're LGBTQ, minority, non Christian, they'll let you die.
