Thanks, Paula! Outside on their old wooden storefront, they have "Photographer's Paradise." At first i chuckled. Then I knew they were serious. 😉

I sorta kicked myself when I got over there because it looked like I was a week late for tree color, but the fallen leaves turned out great!

These modern lenses are no joke. Had to take down the contrast on a few in this batch.

Thanks! It was fun! Thanks for the motivation to get it back out.

I have two. Both Minoltas. The Maxxum 5. Packed with feature including spot metering.Tiny. And the XD-11, which has gotten overshadowed by the X-700. Small. Refined. Basically the same camera as a Leica R4.

Thanks! Have a lot to share from there!

Think that makes it unanimous!

This is in the back of my mind. Been to places down there that you didn't have to worry (Guanajuato, Cartagena). Been to other places - looking at you Guatemala - where the same couldn't be said.

I'm going to also take a 35mm. The damn thing is worth so much now - thanks YouTubers - it's making me question myself.

This is a total dad cam.

This is funny because I had an interaction over the weekend where someone came up to me and asked if I was a professional and what my site was to see my photos. When I replied I was an amateur but I had an IG page all interest was dropped in seeing my pictures.

Thanks! Things have flipped here where Kodak is now a good deal cheaper than Ilford. Need to replenish my stocks for an upcoming trip and wanted to go with some t-grain/core-shell stuff.

How do you like the Tmax 400 compared to Delta 400?
November 19, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Not to butt in, but I have the 21mm, 45 and 90. I think it makes it a good all around travel camera or urban walk-around, but f2 is fastest lens, can't get close focus and only has center-weighted metering. But, for travel it's maybe the smallest/lightest three lens set-up out there.
