Can tile the plane! (Was talking about this yesterday with a 5th grader I'm working with, with a side trip to Escher's Metamorphoses.)

Equangular, equilateral (one does not imply the other, in general!).
Has zero/one/two pairs of parallel sides
All vertices can lie on a circle (e.g., cyclic quadrilateral). All triangles are cyclic.
All angles acute. All angles obtuse. Contains both obtuse and acute angles.
Regular.
Good luck!

I open to seeing potential applications of AI in the math classroom, and what the existance of AI might mean for what we teach and how we teach it.

That said, I've yet to see any evidence to support "AI...reshaping and transforming traditional teaching methods at a breakneck pace."

Where? When? Who? What? Give these so we can figure out the Why.

We live in a world where there are so many stories about unmarked ICE officers taking away people by mistake that it's hard to keep them all straight. That's a statement in and of itself.

I re-listened to the pod, and it sounds very much like this case. I'd put money on it being the same person. It's the September 8 episode of The Daily from NYT, about 23 minutes into the episode. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/08/p...

Was this the person discussed in the NYT Daily podcast a couple of weeks ago?

Great exercise!

Have you assessed whether all the reported distances are computed "as the bird flies" (i.e. great circle) regardless of roads, vs looking at distances found if one were to actually build a GPS path?

For combinatorics & probability probs my method is:

Step 1 - Find a method to get an answer that you feel confident abt.

Step 2: look for other, maybe more efficient or elegant solns and check against step 1.

Step 3: If not match, dig deep to figure out which is wrong and why!

Did not mean to cause such distress. I have a hair-trigger for falsehoods online from either side. It appears that you and I are in agreement about many/most things (incl. Kirk and the right of "big gay homos" to live free), so it was not my intent to have such an effect on you.

Be well.

100%!

Interestingly, that set of 4 values appears in the window (I checked) but not on the website. It says "A place to grow, play, and learn through hands-on, inquiry-based science."

Maybe they contracted out the window design.

Johnson would say that he was working undercover for the NYPD.

AND,

No, Trump wouldn’t lose any supporters.

Pirro would ask for compensation for Trump’s hand injury sustained while shooting.

AND

Bondi would call for prosecution of the victim posthumously, as well as his family.

AND...
tcorica.bsky.social
Noem would say it was fine because the victim was “the worst of the worst”

AND

Rubio would say “it’ll happen again” and Trump had authority “under exigent circumstances to eliminate imminent threats to the United States.”

AND....

DJT: "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK? It's, like, incredible."

If he did:

Hegseth would say the victim was a narcotrafficker and would praise Trump for his “lethality”.
