I'm always puzzled by comments about how passenger rail is impossible. Rocky Mountaineer doesn't own any of the tracks but has been around since the 90s. Love to see them be more involved in this route.

Here's what motivated the standoff. My understanding is that DOGE is trying to get in to do what they do...but have been blocked thus far (again, from a personal contact who works there). www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
