I rly don't get the small talk hate tbh. it's the most basic and easy form of social interaction. it's low stakes, theres tons of scripts to pull from and you feel like a real person afterwards. oh it feels shallow? yeah that's the point. stop trying to push deeper connections onto passing strangers
