Millions of people demanding a better life and an end to fascism a few days ago showed up at the polls to give Democrats a damn near clean sweep. Eight Senators showed up in the Senate to dash their hopes, kill their enthusiasm and show them it was for fucking nothing. The country is doomed.

One good example of protest votes was in the last election. Palestinian heritage groups in the US refused to vote for “Genocide Jo” while he was trying to end the Gaza War. The result was full blown genocide actively helped by the US under Trump.

Most major well funded third party campaigns draw only 1 - 5% of the vote. Not enough to consider them a threat to other candidates except in a close election, it can flip the vote to the worst candidate. So, protest votes often are nothing more than a vote for the candidate liked the least.

I am also outraged. That said, not voting democratic ticket, or voting third party, is essentially the same as voting for the Nazi/Pedo party. There is nothing they would like more than for the Democrats to start splitting votes. Over 100 years of effort have proven 3rd party runs ineffective.

I agree but am just saying there is no way to build a viable third party from scratch in time to save this democracy. Many have tried in the past 100 years to start a third party, none have got enough traction to matter.

I campaigned for her in 2024. If she had been the result of a full primary, she would have won. Two things worked against her. First, racists love Trump. Secondly, being handed the race by Biden screwed her opportunity to develop a grass roots base.

Here is the problem: the Nazi/pedo party has got a solid block of voters. Splitting the Democratic ticket only helps them. What we need to do it primary Senators that betrayed us.

Jesus Johnson never said he would allow a vote in Congress. That was their plan from the beginning. Corporate money was pressuring them, that’s why we need a general strike.
