At its core you need to roll 1, 2, or 3's on a die, so the d4 is the best and as you fail rolls, it shifts to larger dice until you go over d12 and exhaust the trait.

I do agree that powers got spammy, but I loved the ability to use the same Power Set, but use a different option within it to do fun and creative narrative things depending on whether attacking, defending, creating assets, or doing other non-combat things.

I 100% agree with Marvel Heroic Roleplaying. It's how I found and fell in love with #CortexRPG. I like the d616 system too, but MHR resonates more to me.

The Leverage RPG was pretty great too and also underrated.

I am still collecting as many of the older Cortex games that I can find.

#CortexRPG for me, in all its flavors, especially Tales of Xadia, Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, and Smallville. I want to shout about it from every rooftop.

To be fair, since @direwolfdigital.bsky.social purchased and abandoned Cortex, betraying its fans, enthusiasts like me kind of need to step up.

It's crazy because in WV, it seems to be that you can only get the Flu vaccine. COVID-19 is not to be found.

Even harder to find one for kids under 12. Gettysburg and Hanover in PA had them. Leesburg, VA had them. Fortunately, Frederick, MD had them and is a closer option than the others.

It's crazy because I live in WV. I work in VA, so I got mine during a lunch break. My wife had to travel into MD to get hers. Fortunately, Hagerstown isn't very far. As I stated above, I had to drive an hour into MD for the kids to get one.

My spouse, my kids, and I have all received this season's Flu and COVID-19 vaccines.

We both got ours last week and were able to find a CVS that had some for the kids today. Had to drive an hour to Frederick, MD to get it.

They all did well, not afraid of the needles. Got a vaccine in each arm.
