Ah, yes, the 'Le Car'. I had one! Funny story: readying it for trade-in, I had to replace the starter. What that cost, and what I was credited on the new car, I would have been $200 better off if I had simply pushed it off a cliff. That said, it was really fun to drive and *awesome* in the snow.

Very cool, indeed. The Griffons looked good in the rescue livery. 😍

… into this confined space look easy. It wasn't, I'm sure. Whether it was scheduled or not I don't known, but one of the Griffons was getting a little TLC from its crew. I'm always filled with pride and respect when I see these outstanding folks do our nation's heavy lifting. | 🛩️ ⚔️ 🚁 📍 🇨🇦 | 🧵 2/3

Outstanding idea. It might share some of the same visual elements, at least, from the 2023 short film 'The Shepherd'. Which, incidentally, is well worth adding to your Christmas viewing list — it's not that far away. | 🛩️ ⚔️ 🎬 🎭

From @lochansmill.bsky.social writing for @theorkneynews.bsky.social: « When did we stop being nice? » Mr. Ross perfectly captures and parses my own confusion and profound dysphoria regarding the fraught times in which we find ourselves. Well worth reading. | 🍁 | 🔗 theorkneynews.scot/2025/10/04/w...
