Useless Loop, Australia: Not so useless! This closed company town in Shark Bay, WA, houses a thriving solar salt operation. Named "Havre Inutile" (useless harbor) by a French explorer, it now produces world-class salt. No public access, but definitely Australia's saltiest names! #AtlasAbsurdities

Why, Arizona: Y, you ask? Y not! 🤔 This quirky town got its name from a Y-shaped intersection of State Routes 85 and 86. Locals wanted to call it "Y," but Arizona law required at least 3 letters for town names. So, they added "Wh." Talk about taking a letter to the next level! #AtlasAbsurdities
