This 'deal' to pay 25% more for US drugs in return for nothing will cost £3.3bn a year.

NHS services will be cut, less drugs will be prescribed, you will suffer.

So American Billionaires can be Trillionaires.

I have both those with chronic health conditions and medics in my inner circle/family so I well know there are serious issues on both sides.

At the end of the day tho, it comes down to this; if doctors don't stand up now and do the hard thing, there'll be no NHS left for anyone.

Up the workers 💪

CQC caught lying over knowledge about Trust’s maternity services. Reflects moral hazard of appointing a CQC CEO that is too much part of the NHS management ‘old boys club’? CQC not as neutral as it should be or just morally bankrupt

CQC admits it falsely claimed not to know about trust maternity concerns
The Care Quality Commission has admitted it did know about concerns over the death of a baby at a trust being investigated for serious maternity failures after initially denying it had been informed.

Rachel Reeves on #C4News saying Labour are now lifting 450,000 children out of poverty by removing the two child benefit cap

So an admission that Labour kept 450,000 children in poverty for the past year because they didn't care enough about child poverty to lift them out of it last year

Mad how America, with its war of independence, revolution, civil war, constitution, amendments and all that has less protection against despotism than anywhere else in the world.

It's a shame I'm not still in NHS England. My notorious practiced glum sulkiness would be reaching new depths, and smarmy comments in meetings would be multiplied in the face of happy clappy 'resilience' messages from the smug twats in senior positions.

It would definitely be "superb".

Meanwhile..

Corporate funded think-tanks urge govt to cut benefits, pensions, schools meals, public spending; charge for seeing GPs.

Oppose taxes on the rich.

Support subsidies for auto, steel, film, shipbuilding, oil, gas, biomass, semiconductor, internet and other companies.

It is class war.

We shouldn't have to wear a hazmat suit to stay warm and healthy in our homes.

Well-being for staff HAS to be at the forefront of any NHS improvements.

As an employer would you...

Send builders to work without ear protection?

Send steeplejacks without a harness?

Send Motorway staff with no high Vis jacket?

Then don't send ambulance workers without wellbeing support.

NHS has a duty of care, make sure they honour it.

Cuts to staffing/investment; high debt, profiteering; worse patient outcomes.

More deaths in nursing homes, increased post-operative complications

Why is UK Govt handing the NHS to PE? Why no investigation of the impact of PE?

Political questions about the peerage of Michelle Mone.

PM David Cameron didn't follow proper protocols for her peerage, made her govt adviser.

The same David Cameron appointed Philip Green (BHS fame) as the Govt's efficiency Tsar, bugled the Brexit referendum.

Mone benefitted from Tory VIP lane.
