Across Europe, queer people face growing hostility - I saw it again last Saturday at the banned Pride in Pécs.

It is good the Commission continues its LGBTIQ Strategy, but it still lacks real action.

We need courage now - to turn promises into progress.

Freedom of assembly is a fundamental right for every EU citizen, whether in Berlin, Paris, Budapest, or Pécs.

We call on the European Commission to live up to its responsibility as guardian of the treaties and to urge the Hungarian authorities to lift the ban on Pécs Pride 🌈 🇪🇺

The Green Deal is the first casualty of this unequal EU-US trade deal.

By locking in fossil fuel imports, Europe’s climate goals are being undermined.

Eager to appease Trump, the German & other national governments have drastically weakened the EU’s position.

Leaders call for an ambitious MFF with increased genuine own resources, with rule of law conditionality, respecting Parliament’s prerogatives, and share concerns with National and Regional plans.

We can't do more with less.

Today, we remember the over 8,000 Bosniak men and boys who were murdered in the Srebrenica genocide in July 1995.

The countless Bosniak women and girls who suffered unspeakable violence.

The worst atrocity on European soil since World War II.

We will never forget.
