Proud Leaf fan & SeoPros Founder living one day at a time doing what I love in the greatest country in the world!
IMO, has been true since Google turned the Personalization knob to 10 so it's not just in the AI world. All you see is the side of the story they think you will find agreeable to you. I miss the early days when you got other views and divergent thinking.

I think it's less a boycott and more about FEAR of being hustled off to some 3rd world country w/no trial and Trump charging a fee to visit the US in some cases. I bet there is also a lot of Florida RE for sale by Ca. Snowbirds as well!

Have to live w/it! Consider anyone can change business hours in Google Business Profile which is an even bigger PITA given the open or closed is displayed in the SERP using those hours!

Consider that many of the schema Google is removing they likely can gather using tabbed data or other crawling/indexing methods.

Besides the most effective schema for SEO often doesn't DIRECTLY appear in the results it can add data points that provide information about ENTITIES in the content!

Revenue is only good for reports if the business has competitive offers and SEO has full control of sales process. Revenue reporting doesn't work for SEOs if the client can't sell or the product isn't competitive. In that case the SEOs job is to get users to the site lack of success is on the client

It's not penalized so you're wasting time and clients money removing them. That also makes the bad assumption that Google or some other resource may support them in the future.

Egregious to even suggest it as a future service cuz some clown will definitely try!

IMO, most touted SEO resources aren't very consistent in quality so best avoided

SEO benefits from thorough knowledge of web development & how SE work so Google Documentation is a must! Don't look for exploits more effective to review what problem they were solving & solution to Future Proof SEO

IME, 20% of queries produces 80% of the conversion and if you're doing a good job on the SEO for that 20% you usually are covered on long tail. Targeting only a few terms on the page is so SEO 1999!
November 7, 2025 at 6:50 PM
If you were only adding schema for Rich Results you likely don't know much about schema, SEO or programming and you enable Google to lead you around by the nose telling you what to put in your pages and why! Do the work to know why and how so don't be a sheeple!
November 7, 2025 at 6:26 PM
You're assuming they are like a SE not content thieves who don't care so won't bother to try! You're giving them far too much credit! The big clue is they steal from everybody and could care less if it is accurate or factual!

Yeah... but any marketer w/ 1/2 a brain knows that engagement is phantom and seldom ends w/the best outcome. Much like interstitial advertising all you really accomplish is pissing the user off!

I've always believed that the primary goal of SEO should be to SEARCH FOR AUDIENCES because new audiences result in links that build brand visibility/awareness & topical authority especially when there is co-occurrence w/high ranking sites.

This assures traffic diversity lowering dependency on SE!

True however Screaming Frog pulls all that data from source & puts it into a DB. Then use OpenAI to analyze the data & write a report. You can also get entities & embeddings

Ranking difficulty is available in SEMrush & spending more time than that to analyze that is a waste of time & clients $'s

Tnx for correcting me I was mistakenly thinking it was optimizing Generative AI

AI companies have been following Google & MS playbook for internet domination from the get go. Both M$ and Google have leveraged their browsers to gain advantage over competition to the point where Google got on the DOJ radar!
October 23, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Which is exactly why those touting it did so! People doing this moronic shit have been around as long as SEO has been! Those who can't succeed... come up with a term they can rank for because they don't have the wherewithal to rank for real terms!
October 21, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Query Fanout was being used by Google years before AI was introduced! Google just put a name to it recently but it goes back to the days of Passage indexing which is when Google told us targeting single keywords/page was no longer an effective strategy
October 20, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Please... is AI mode the future of GOOGLE search? There is no CLEAR indication that AI Mode is what USERS want! The fact they're doing what you have written about shows USERS aren't exactly sold on AI and are having it forced on them by lack of choice and dominance of AI at top of SERP!
