And that is today’s Republican Party: There is never a line they won't cross, never a message too ridiculous, never anything too disingenuous to propagate or so harmful to the public that they won’t do it. Anything is justified as part of a larger war against supposed "leftist" domination.

The past few congresses have seen a spike in the threat/use of “accountability tools.” I argue this escalating trend has tremendous consequences for the long term health of our institutions!
