I love the little detail that the save points in dungeons are phones! It's like how all of the Yakuza games pre-2016 made you find a phone booth in order to save your game! :D

I wonder if the Kurohyo duology is officially considered non-canon? Both Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 7 state that no one has come near Shangri-la since the events of Yakuza 1, but in Kurohyo 2 we see that Kuki has turned the place into a casino

Just finished up chapter 1 of Yakuza: Like a Dragon! I'm already completely hooked!
I'm really liking the combat so far. I'll be honest, I was a little bit intimidated from what little I'd seen, but so far, it's pretty fun!
Also, seeing Ichiban crying broke my heart 🥲
