So I've been curious on Toshiro Ishido because of his post-Ultraman Taro downward spiral and was completely unprepared for an example his...unique viewpoints outside of Ultraman

How dire things have gotten that people outside Japan can not only intuit better on what makes Brave shows tick but make more genuine Brave spiritual successors than an industry veteran who worked on the series back in the day

A huge step up from the first one. Way more focused plot with an intriguing overarching narrative, more varied and unique Cardbot designs, and none of them has the problem of blending into a big crowd thanks to the cast division.
