Galbana Lily has a strong preference for cool looking attire, and tends to gravitate towards black cloth and leather. But she also really likes soft, billowing clothing, and her color palette is much more varied when it comes to casual outfits.

Have you heard her voice? How could I not fall in love with her, and want to ship her with Lily? That her character reminded me heavily of Lily's own only made it even more impossible to resist.

I also considered shipping her with Mikoto before I brought Minfilia back, as I found her interactions in canon to be very charming.
There's a few other characters I've considered shipping Lily with—Yugiri, Ysayle, and Yotsuyu, for instance—but unfortunately I never tried exploring those.

On the note of "Scions' presence actively pushing out new characters": It's downright criminal that they introduced Strika and then never used her again until late in patch 7.3.
The back half of Dawntrail has so many characters who could plausibly have been trusts, even more so than the first half.
