I was hanging out in a stream I enjoy lurking in and saw this chat come through. I just don't understand why people feel the need to comment on viewership.

This streamer has worked so hard to grow but this chatter is basically implying that they're upset about that growth.
Don't do this.

I'm just gonna say it:

My streams have been going INCREDIBLY well lately in every possible way EXCEPT CCV. My CCV has tanked these last few months and while I'm working on trying to get it back up closer to where we're used to, I'm so confused.

I truly think Twitch changed something secretly.

Like my organic engagement is so so good and my community has been VERY supportive.

Others have mentioned that it really feels like Twitch isn't counting inactive lurkers. I don't know because I've been in quieter chats with 100+ viewers.

I just know something feels different.

One way around ADs on Twitch, for me at least, is Twitch Turbo.

You end up supporting EVERY streamer you watch, and as a streamer/creator you get perks as well.

I don't feel guilty for not subbing to more folks because I know they'll get some cut, maybe even more than the cost of a single sub.
