Clearly the buildings need to wear bright clothing, otherwise they’re just asking to be hit!

He’s so upset about losing a 2 directional street as if he can’t just simply drive 2 blocks west to Damen or 2 blocks east to Ashland. But I guess that 1 minute detour would be too much a tragedy for the poor suffering car driver

I’m not exactly the biggest fan of Brandon Johnson, but whenever I’m disappointed in him, I think to myself “at least it’s not Vallas” and I am so grateful considering everything that’s happening now that it’s not Vallas in charge of the city

Where’s the NIMBYs when we need them most?

It is clearly illegal, but ice is seemingly above the law

They don’t know and they don’t care. They just know they’re not going to face consequence under the current presidential administration

I will always find it so ironic that all these people who are worried about increased traffic advocate for increased parking, not realizing that the the increased parking increases traffic

I mean even ignoring the environmental benefits, does anyone actually think windmills are ugly? I along with everyone I know rather go “woah, cool, it’s a windmill” when passing a windmill rather than saying “ew that’s ugly”

The problem is without these established differentiation between e-bikes and e-motos, we instead have towns establishing blanket bans on all e-bikes or requiring people to have driver licenses to use their e-bikes.

Have you heard about this? They’re starting procuring the design of the tracks of the forest park branch. Unfortunately, as I understand it, they specifically state changing geometry of tracks to widen platforms outside the scope of the project, so I assume something like this wouldn’t be considered

It’s wonderful to see the government so quickly collapse everything once good about this country

I had been planning to visit Tunis on a study abroad last semester, but it never worked out unfortunately. Guess I missed my chance to see this building

Any word about bike lanes on Archer, or is that too much to ask for?

How is that actually any different from a helicopter? If helicopters haven’t been so game changing, why would these be any different?

Remember, it’s definitely the other countries who pay the tariffs and definitely is not just an additional tax on us!

I mean, I have to make an argument for 26th street station. Feels quite post apocalyptic, not to mention the long winding approach to the station through barren wastelands
The station’s access bridge, surrounded by chain link fencing with overgrown pavement and divvys and line scooters strewn messily on the pavement Station transfer bridge from farther back Approach to the station Approach to the station

As always, I will advocate for installing sound barriers at all the highway median platforms. It should be quite simple logistically, really shouldn’t require any lengthy environmental assessments or community consultation, but will dramatically improve the user experience

Woodlawn has transformed so dramatically in the past 5 years, and I can’t wait to see how it’ll transform in 5 more years
