since their home country promoted them to general to increase military fervor and nationalism, instead of being given an award and honorably discharged, they were still around guns. but the shots they had endured had caused them to be prone to muscle spasms, which is how you get their death.

It is possible that they survived the firing squad, despite being shot a lot, and it was one of those “if the noose breaks you live” kind of situations, so when they survived and then got back to their home country they were lauded for their bravery and then made general.

my assumption is that the firing squad might’ve been an enemy firing squad, and them “abandoning their post” was actually them being captured, but the military misconstrued it, and so it is the official future event that the stock market captures.

okay so given that, from a purely mathematical perspective (not utilizing Nash matrices or things), and assuming independent and random number selection the ideal number is 75. i mathed it out in a spreadsheet and did get it verified by our local math phd candidate lmao.
