The infuriating part is that them making the limit 1.8TB was also to compensate for a "2TB" drive being effectively 1.8? But no, to the NAS company, 1.8TB is a different 1.8TB to the HDD manufacturer.

After fighting and losing against tech all day Monday and taking another crack at it today, I'm actually making some kind of headway with transfering my dad's UNIQUE COPIES of files from his NETWORK BACKUP DRIVES.

Don't worry about the EMPHASIS I'm placing on certain words, it's not significant.

It states that the requirement for the drives is that they are "SATA and not 4K Native," and of as much as or more than 1.8TB in capacity.

Both drives are clearly displayed as having these exact specifications.

Drive 1's specifications, showing 1.8TB capacity, and that it is Not 4K Native.
