This is not a call to break bread with neo-Nazis and klan members but to remember we're all people trying to figure this shit out on this little ass blue rock. That fact should ring true over all. Talk to people. Engage with them. You'll get farther and will preach your conviction more that way.

I.E. yes. Call out apparent malice and evil when it rears its head. But we should look past our political tribalism in everyday life and have open honest conversation about life. We have a lot in common and the system at play has a lot to gain from keeping us divided.

At the end of the day, you still go to work with people that are polar opposite of you politically, hold views that you find abhorrent, and would maybe never share a meal with. We move the needle forward when we refuse to hide our convictions AND engage meaningfully with people we are removed from.

And again, this resonates with me. But it doesn't dispel the problem. Democrats further obfuscate the issues by pretending everything is okay. Trump touched populist issues and it won over the "equality" dance that dems played. Imo dems need to take lesson from Bernie and touch on populist pulse

I resonate with this post. But the problem we have in as far as divisive America is two fold imo. 1) we're contending with a large swath of America that has a disorientation of reality and 2) we refuse to engage with them seriously bc of that. And bc we do... nobody learns and Donald Trump gets prez

That would be terrible. Lol. No I just am overinundated with the medium. Growing up I was an early Rogan head and the spiral that his podcast went into made it annoying. Ruined it for me. Not that I don't enjoy other podcasts or longform media. Idk Something about it just sucks to me now personally.

As much as I support wholesome people spreading positivity and logic and over all sanity into the general population..... I'm ready to see podcast media wither.
