So the main thing the hotfix was meant to fix, wasn't even fixed??
If this was a one time thing it wouldn't be as frustrating. Mistakes happen. But there's so many examples of similar happening over the last few years. It just wasn't as bad because versions switchers worked.

In the latest update, Mojang added a ton of space between the settings tabs and previously added a ton of space between the audio sliders. This is great for mobile... but not for PC players 🙃

Guessing by the background colour of the new cape it's meant to be sort of like a default cape that everyone has, hence the common name.
