Woke up today to the news that I got approved for the sequel to Strange Beasts, Wayward Souls, and I am a very happy woman. Can't wait to dive back into the world of my favorite sapphic fantasy of last year!

Strange Beasts just so perfectly encapsulates my tastes as a reader that I can’t help but love it. If the idea of a historical sapphic fantasy with compelling female leads and a sympathetic perspective on womanhood and monsterhood sounds up your alley, then I can't recommend this novel enough. 🌈📚

So remember when I said that August was full of sapphic horror releases? Well, Sapphic September introduces a whole lot of “cozy spooky.” We have multiple supernatural romances and the odd horror anthology in Teenage Girls Can Be Demons. There are also new gorgeous sapphic fantasy releases! 🌈📚

This Saturday, New York's biggest independent bookstore is celebrating its 98th anniversary with 20% off storewide! I have no idea what to expect, but I'm really hoping to snag a copy of Joe Abercrombie's newest release, The Devils. I think the hardcover is so gorgeous. 😍 #booksky

I'm shocked by this headline, and it looks like most people are too. I've always included Bluestockings as one of the must-go destinations for queer readers in NYC and now it's shutting down—and by the sound of it, the internals aren't pretty. I don't know what to think right now. 🌈📚

As a sapphic romance reader, I've come to learn that I don't really enjoy instant lust or lust before love, especially if it isn't justified later in the story with some really amazing relationship development. Is this a hot take in the community? 🌈📚

I don't usually talk about games on my blog, but I had to make an exception for Signalis. This indie cult hit is Blade Runner in space combined with sapphic romance and atmospheric dread. It is also probably going to be one of my favorite games of the year. I loved everything about it. 🌈📚

AND HADES 2 COMING OUT IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!! I've been avoiding spoilers, so all I know about this game is that it's a sequel to Hades, you play as Melinoe, and Nemesis is in it, smoking hot, and potentially romanceable. I'm going to have a hard time focusing this week. 😭
