It’s increasingly clear that we live in a world by and for billionaires now, but the movies have always been a stridently democratic art form. The spaces where indie films thrive need to be protected and we are losing sight of that in an ever growing sea of corporate content.

at some point, people need to really start questioning why Mantello and Metcalf are willingly supporting the Rudin Comeback Project. as if literally no other producer could support them and their work.

yes there’s much to be said for the failures of IDIOCRACY on its satirical merits, but have you also considered that it’s ugly and mean-spirited and not funny and not well made too?
