I'm taking her for more SQ fluids today and seeing if that affects her anymore. If it doesn't then I'm just gonna allow myself one last weekend and taking her in on Monday to say goodbye since my bf will be off work and we can say goodbye together.

My cat, Crybaby, is 9 and was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. She took a turn for the worst and we're preparing for the end but the medical bill is piling up. 210 is her current standing but if she gets even worse, euthanasia is 90.

If y'all want a rundown of what happened to SQF, this is the best way to summarize it. In between a con head that was not suited for leadership to literally not having badges printed and cut until the day before (which caused the delay in Reg), it was overall a mess I'd never wish on anyone.

If Fandom had stepped back and wiped his hands of SQF and allowed a new con chair to take the reins, it would have been the best course of action. Every time we asked it was "You won't understand" but didn't explain why.

I hate that SQF is ending this way. I hate it so bad.

I still am so upset over SQF. I loved this con so, so much and I had even planned on taking my daughter there when funds allowed because all the staff felt like family. The entire art staff, the entire Tech Ops (I think) and some other staff left.
