2024 started strong for me but things tapered off. I do believe part of it is a me thing, but I recognize that I have obstacles still to work through, mainly space, time and location/money issues.

The people pushing for the elimination of birthright citizenship are currently committing atrocities against immigrants within our country's borders and murdering fishermen overseas. Planning for self-care of mechanically structured belongings can sometimes be a nightmare becaaue you got items like glasses with screws as tiny as the tip of a pencil and you have screws for dressers or something that can be about as wide as a thunb. The variance in screw sizes is diabolical.

Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother
