Oh btw if we thought ONE sinkhole this week was annoying (3rd overall with 180 voids found underneath i80), well… i287 NB at the 80 interchange wanted to get involved

Map of the location where a sinkhole on interstate 287 northbound mile marker 42.6 at the interstate 80 interchange in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ was located on 3/21/25, two days after a third sinkhole on interstate 80 appeared near Wharton NJ. This is the second sinkhole to open up on a major roadway in New Jersey in one week, and the fourth overall in as many months. When the second sinkhole opened up on interstate 80 westbound in February, crews initially suspected there were 90 voids underneath the heavily traveled highway, only to correct that number to 180.

big fan of LGBTQIA+ rights. big fan of bow ties. extremely big fan of supporting small businesses like xoelle.com — Laura is an absolute gem. if you want or need bow ties (she’s got Beetlejuice themed ones too!) or chain stitch patches, or a custom order (like for weddings), I highly recommend her

record store day. I popped into sweet vinyl, a record store cafe while on a walk in a town that’s not mine. got a matcha, some records I’ve been eyeing, as well as a mystery box of 15 vinyl for $10. the mystery box did not disappoint and the “gold rush” matcha was tasty
