Is there a #Canadian #cook or #baker on your #gift list? The #Purity #Cookbook is getting hard to find! We have the 1937 revised edition in #hardcover ($50), and the 1967 edition in #softcover ($40 - the #ButtermilkPancakes #recipe is my favourite!). Both for $80. #Booksky #cooking #PurityFlour

My 2nd least favourite thing about Tim Hortons is the confident and clear white guy with a non discernible accent voice that welcomes you to the Tim Hortons drive thru and asks for your order, then proceeded by the actual voice of the minimum wage worker which sounds nothing like the first voice.

On top of licensed establishments not being allowed in the Local Commercial zone, they also cannot share space in a building with residences. That quashes any hope of having neighbourhood pubs with a couple apartments above.
