(2/2) To celebrate its official opening, Sheffield Foyer residents and staff from The Green Estate worked together to plant a variety of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers in the new raised beds. Some of the plants were kindly provided by Food Works.

(1/2) Last week, Sheffield Foyer celebrated the opening of its new outdoor space created by staff from The Green Estate CIC and funded in part by Brett’s Memorial Fund. Sheffield Foyer provides accommodation, training and support for young people who have been affected by homelessness.

Our Horticulture Innovation Manager, Owen, had a great time showing Natural England around the city centre on their recent visit to Sheffield.

They explored the many projects that feature our specialist SuDS soils, as well as the planting along Grey to Green (which is maintained by our team!)
