Chapter V, The Rescue in my mashup version of The Hardy Boys 2nd adventure, The House on the Cliff, is done. That means I’m about a fifth of the way through the book, but just getting to the meat of the story. This is only my second rewrite of Franklin W. Dixon’s work, but he seems to start slow.

Chapter IV of The House on the Cliff is done! Probably my favorite chapter so far, & why wouldn’t it be? We finally get past the mystery of the missing bike tools, and we’re on to boats racing in the bay, shots fired, and watercraft exploding. WAY too much excitement for Frank and Joe! What’s next?

First draft of Chapter III of my mashup of The House on the Cliff is done.
Not my favorite chapter so far and it will need some revisions to make the current jokes work better and I’ll have to add more. But you have to start somewhere, right? On to Chapter IV!
