The Idler of Tangier
@theidler.bsky.social
Small industrial #modelrailway (former) junction named locally after the pub. Modelling a micro layout in OO gauge. #TMRGUK #BMRGUK
Love that! I’m in the 150/2! So many core childhood memories unlocked!

You may be right! Maybe it’s a question for @dunwoodywayetmd.bsky.social as he was the mastermind being the #TMRGUK badges!

I’ve used both #tmrguk and #bsmrguk. Not a definitive answer, I know!

A great thread and a great idea to introduce/reintroduce us all to your layout! Would be great to see a few more of these from the #BSMRGUK/#TMRGUK!

As for your layout, I love the colours of the Highland landscape/setting. Perfectly evocative of the real location!

👋🏼 Hi there! Could I be added too?

Thanks for this! It made joining 100% easier. Any chance of getting added?

I definitely tried to stay in the TMRGUK lane, but I think adverts were getting to me as well as the encroachment of politics.

What’s the scale of Gauge 3? It’s cool that you can actually real materials though! Plenty of wagons can be made from a tree, right?

Cheers Jim. Sussing the place out, but feeling increasingly irritated with Twitter! I need to do a bit more ‘atmosphere building’ on The Idler, but a certain 7 month old seems to be demanding my attention all the time!

In true Idler fashion, late to the party. Really just sussing the place out, but I really am reaching the end of my tether with Twitter! Happy to see you here and I’ll look forward to your project developments. Gauge 3, though! The wagons will be larger than the Idler!
