The amount of effort and capital to build an effective model for AI would be better spent building/renovating the base of a good engine and games created on it. On top of it, you're not going to cultivate and maintain talent by telling them they're expendable to the machine.
Why does everyone who talks about how AI can be a useful tool for game development always sound like they have no idea how AI will actually be a useful tool for game development?
