And the people that do like your content REALLY like it, because it’s one of the few long time dedicated retrospective channels that focuses on the history of the games you cover, and you come at every game with a very interesting perspective. I mean, I see the vision. You have a very soft and warm art style that evokes emotions well, and a pleasant speaking voice. I could totally see you succeeding at doing the storybook style of YouTube video using your avatar as an animatic, if that’s your aim. I’m in full support of it!

I think you’ve got the cool artist bit down, it just boils down to how it gets marketed and shown to people. I believe in you! If you want to be the sort of content creator that gets sent art supplies, perhaps add your artistic flair to some videos going over some of the stuff you use to make art :)

I’ve found it can sometimes be useful to collab with folks that you get along with, it helps keep the conversation going. Streaming can be somewhat isolating on your own even with the chat there, so it may help break the association of worrying about filling for time & get you more comfortable live.

Honestly I can vouch for this, every game Tama has recommended to me has been earnestly some of the best gaming experiences I’ve had. Either through its story or gameplay, I think folks would do well to heed her advice on these sorts of things if they already like the style of games she does.

This is somewhat pointed at myself as well, but I know everyone out there is under some kind of struggle, now, later, or at some point.

Regardless, I know I at least would be sad to not see the light ya’ll bring to the world. Be it from art, music, word-craft, you name it. Be wonderful and dream!

Even when you are going through a rough patch, please try your best. Your creativity is so worth it to struggle on despite it all, even if the world seems dire.

Your efforts may not bear fruit, but someone, somewhere, will see them, and you’ll have left your mark on this earth. That’s enough.

Probably the most notable one I can think of is “YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!” It’s the most spiteful title I can think of.

There may be a way to set things up to where I don’t need to physically connect to my iPad, and if that’s the case, we should be able to get some art in! It’s wild how much you don’t realize you rely on a specific piece of kit working until the day it suddenly stops!

Thank you to everyone who came by the stream today, it meant a lot! Sometimes you just got to punch out your feelings and DK Bananza was the perfect outlet for that.

As for ARTuesday, despite returning to streaming, I’m unable to draw art unless I can find a workaround for the iPad, so stay tuned!

Yo-Kai Watch 4++ is super fun, even though I have to translate it though an app most of the time. They said they were going to localize it ages ago but it never happened 😭
I recommend giving it a try! It loads really well on the Switch 2

I’m really happy Legends ZA is going for something similar!

I feel like there may still be some influence, as it appears they are catching up to Yokai Watch 4 with their combat system in ZA, as the they have a similar cooldown based real time battle system with their summoned creature/companions in a small arena.

I think they are probably taking a page from Pokemon Masters EX’s book and using Hoopa as an excuse to do dimensional or timeline based shenanigans. I could totally see them bringing some past trainers to fight without having to do entire redesigns for the sake of the new game.

This Nintendo direct was just about everything I could have asked for, from Fatal Frame to a new Pokemon spin off?? Not to even mention shadow dropping a new DK Bananza DLC, I’m honestly just super happy with this presentation💕
