Wouldn’t 100m allow the club to make more deals with more cash upfront? Or get certain deals over the line faster with more cash on hand instead?

And isn’t the amount more to do with adhering to financial rules about how much an owner can personally inject?

The players who have SM must have some awareness of what’s being said about them. Or maybe their “teams” might inform them of the mood or vibe.

I’m sure the groaning, shouting, and booing during games from our own fans are a better indicator, though?
