Not that we know of (although, if we knew of something incoming, we also wouldn't be allowed to say 😄). It's a good idea, though!

It looks like a weird format, and it does look awkward, but when you set one up and put it in the case - it's easy, and makes a lot of sense.

This is exactly what we disliked about other boards, especially the wider NodeMCU options. So wide you're left with a single row of pins on each side.
