Russia has no tanks anymore. Trump wants strength in the military but is himself orange and decayed. RN candidates are laughably unfit. Milei accomplishes nothing economically & drowns in corruption scandals.
The fascist ideology is on the rise worldwide. But they are but a facade, ready to crumble.

Je suis au conseil municipal de mon village et on se bagarre depuis deux ans avec la Région qui fait tout ce qu'elle peut pour saboter et dégrader le transport scolaire. Je te raconte pas ma joie quand j'ai découvert que ladite Région était... à "gauche".

This thread isn’t a critique of Expedition 33 itself. I just used it as an example because I thought the numbers would be telling.
42M hours is an enormous amount of people's time.
11.34M kWh is a huge quantity of energy.
We, video game makers, have a responsibility that matches those numbers.

It means that the game is responsible for a power consumption of (42*0.75*0.3)+(42*0.125*0.16)+(42*0.125*0.2)= 11.34M kWh. That's the power consumption equivalent of 130000 light bulbs for a year.

An average gamer PC comes with a 500w PSU. Let's assume Expedition 33 only needs 60% of that - 0.3 kW. Also I'm no expert but I found ~0.16 kW as an average load for an Xbox Series X and 0.2 kW for a PS5.
Now let's also assume the game has sold 3M copies on PC, with the rest split between consoles.

Little calculus exercise.
Expedition 33 takes at least 30 hours to beat.
It's estimated that roughly 20% of a game's owners finish it. Let's say another 30% see halfway through it.
Expedition 33 sold 4M copies. That's (4*0.2*30)+(4*0.3*15)= 42 millions hours of game played (conservative estimate).
