They don’t look like terrorists who, in the last 24 hours broke a one-of-a-kind piece of art, tore up the fabric under an ottoman to climb inside, repeatedly roamed the kitchen counters to lick crumbs, and scatter my jigsaw puzzle pieces on the floor. But they did. 😡😆

Seen on my walk today a few feet apart. A pile of mushrooms, and a tree that had dropped most of its leaves but was also leafing out. We’re having an unusually warm fall, and the trees are confused.

Oh golly. I have stacks of books I’ve gotten from the many free little libraries in the neighborhood. This one isn’t but hoo boy has it been a tough read. I have a feeling it doesn’t end well, either. 😟
