Other than the obvious must-see bands on the main stage at @downloadfest.bsky.social this weekend, I recommend seeing Currents, Polaris, Svalbard, Northlane & The Ghost Inside.

I'll never forget the feeling of listening to the first #Slipknot album for the first time. Breathtaking! 🤘 I still pinch myself that I got to interview them for the radio show many, many years ago.

It blew my sons mind today that people all around the world could hear the special Oasis show I was doing on the radio, at the same time he and I were stood in the kitchen listening to the opening link. "Dad! That's you! That's so cool!". A lovely father and son moment! ♥️

Being in a festival field with your mates watching bands you love is a feeling to be cherished. Some bands I saw at Slam Dunk Festival were Imminence, Stray From The Path, LANDMVRKS, Finch, The Used, ADTR and... I met Cookie Monster! 😂 Thanks to Alex at Gala PR for the invite! 🤘 #SlamDunkFestival

After work this morning, on the 80th anniversary of VE Day, I walked to The Cenotaph. I've driven past every day this week and thought how striking the memorial looked draped in Union flags to mark eight decades since the end of the Second World War in Europe. #VE80
