Doesn’t sound a bad way to spend the time…

Likewise I lost track of them after “Mint Hand” so have a few releases to catch up with!

thanks for finding this! Had no idea they were back, managed to listen this morning. Melodies and dual vocal flow perfectly intact.

Did you ever catch them live? I saw them support Marine Research at the Dublin Castle and, later, the Ladybug Transistor. Still must have been 25 yrs ago, mind⌛

Loved the intro to this one. You sent me scurrying back to the “Casino Classics” sleeve notes myself! Didn‘t we all once model ourselves on dreams like those…

(I know we say this about other Harriet bands too, but it’s nonetheless true - it’s a great privilege to be labelmates with jim’s twenty-one)

Mischief Theatre, so nothing highbrow but should be good value for the 3 generations of us there!

Very best of luck with it, but I don’t doubt you’ll charm ’em ;)

Yes, hard to get any distance from the record when you put it out, but now I hope you can look back with some pride on it & the journey it started!

I’d love to, but can’t… I’m even in the west end that night - but taking the fam to the theatre…

Please shout if you’ve any other live spots pending, as would love to come.

I don’t *think* I ever got to see Baptiste or Kelman live…

My 3 would be A Witness, Shoppies and Bogshed (who are at, gosh, number FOUR!)

(And I think I have a Pale Man Made cd-r… on Cloudberry, obviously)

I’m going to have to crash out soon but thank you again!

Carl definitely chose a ‘deep cut’ of ours and was very kind. I was touched he dug the title of our comp!

Super radio.

Blimey. I wasn’t expecting that! Thanks so much, Wally for letting me know.

Tuning in!

Thank you, fascinating. Played vol 1 to death, every song made an indelible mark.

And that explains why my vol 3 is MM-branded but not the first two!

Stupidly forgot to provide the link to the full (and indexed) online archive of Incite!

All 30 issues of the fanzine, from 1985 to 1998. A treasure trove of US and UK alt-music history, and much more:

TIm showed up with the first three Harriet 7"s: High Risk Group, Linda Smith & Fertile Virgin.

And we gave him a copy of our summer single, “Paperchase”, which he played on his Walkman on the train home.

Here’s the sleeve, sourced from Tim's YouTube. Cost 10p per photocopy at Billericay Library 😊

Back one last time to the 35th anniversary thread, with the final act of The Rosslyns mk. I: our interview with Incite!

When Tim from Harriet Records came round for tea and toast, and listened to the new songs that he would release 32 years later.

All fine in the end, as not one but two fine records appeared (pictured here, with said councillor’s leaflet). Cake, and icing!

The vinyl, & the whole package, really look stunning, so well-curated.

The shout-out is so kind too - thanks to you, and to @assistant.bandcamp.com 👏
